White marble octagon table tops with semi precious stones inlaid in various floral & geometric paterns. White marble is translucent and when lighted from under, these patterns can be seen as silhouettes. As many as 50 different pieces of stones are used to create just one flower, which can take several hours to make. Number of stones inlaid can run over thousands of pieces and yet the top surface is as smooth as glass. One can't feel any unevenness on the surface by running the hand over it. This is the mastery of artisans, unique to this Agra region of India, whose ancestors created inlay work on Taj Mahal.

One noteworthy information: With labor cost in today's India, less than 15% inlay work is done with such detail. Currently Less than 10% of stones are used for inlay then in the past. We acquiered these pieces in early 80s.

Use as a side table or wall decoration. Any spills will not affect the inlay work.
