Cake Stand (or Plateau or Riser). I have yet to attend a wedding that didn't have a cake. As cakes have evolved in size(# of layers) shapes(football any one) and fancy decorations, so are the cake plates. It started with simple round metal platform. And now they are also avilable in square shape and edges are decorated with embossed floral or geometric patterns on metal stands. We introduced CRYSTAL cake stands 4 years ago with hanging crystal beads. The border is laser engraved in top tray with multiple emblems and a medallion in the center. Added new cake plates with multiple rows of silver and amber crystal bead walls with silver and gold top platform. Plus mirror cake stands with mosaic wall in silver and rose colors. Bead & Mirror plates are in 3 popular sizes 14", 16" & 18" diameter packed individually in a styrofoam. Metal plates are upto 24" round or square in silver and gold.
